πŸ›‘ Before you Start

  • I have searched existing bug reports for my problem.
  • I have read the F-A-Q.
  • I am using the latest version of Animated Java
  • I will only report a single bug in this report. If I have found multiple bugs, I will create a separate report for each one.

πŸ—£οΈ Describe the bug

When creating block displays of levers or buttons in Animated Java, north-south and east-west are swapped for the wall-mounted variants (thought not the floor-ceiling variants). These are the only blocks I've tested, I'm uncertain if others exist. Torches on the other hand seem correct.

⚠️ Error Message

πŸ”„οΈ How to Reproduce

  1. Create a north-facing lever block display in Blockbench, positioned so that it's mounted on some other block for reference. It may also be necessary to create a default static pose animation due to this bug.
  2. Export to data pack.
  3. Summon model, if necessary give the model its default animation.
  4. Observe how lever is no longer attached to block.

βœ… Expected Behavior

Orientation of models in Blockbench should be accurate to orientations in-game.

πŸ’‘ Solutions & Alternatives

When making models in Blockbench, invert the cardinal direction of affected blocks before you export.
