Updating the web page structure

We are looking at the layout for DCC-EX.com for ways to simplify things for new users, make things easier to find, yet still having the more detailed content for Tinkerers and Engineers. We have a mindmap made in Whimsical that we are using to see and move things in the structure. Let the discussion begin!

Maybe put the mind map on the website and use it to navigate... Colour sections differently depending on level of complexity.

Along a similar idea as Chris' have a pictorial overview, then have each picture clickable to go to that device description.

DCC++EX Architecture from Throttles to Controller (EX vs JMRI) to Arduino Type (Uno, Mega, Nano, Teensy) to WiFi device to Shield/Booster to Tracks

If it Works then do the Same for the Accessory Layout & Devices.
Command Station to Servo/Turnout Device(PCA, MCP, Relays, etc)

And for a Controller Bus (C/MRI, LCC, etc) and IoTT Stick=LocoNet) etc

We would expand the Smartphone WiThrottles pics to include many of the Apps, Withrottle, DCCppCAB, etc and or WebServer Throttle

Clickable Images is a good idea.
The image of all the throttles is massive and might overwhelming for ppl. I would suggest to split it up in hardware Throttles, Apps and Software OR devide it in based on connection with DCC-EX vs connection via JMRI/RocRail

Maybe one Image for Each Throttle Type or Class ( DIY , Hand held Tethered, Smartphone, Proprietary WiFI, etc )
then just list the names under them as clickable like I have in the image under Engine Driver.
