Why do you want this feature?
Currently the workaround is to put this into the DESCRIPTION or LOCATION, both are not great, as the url has to be copied and manually opened (compare that to the button next to the location property)
The main benefit for me would be interoperating with other CalDAV clients. All of the ones i regularly use support it.
