I’m running into a strange issue with my device running GrapheneOS. My contacts all have profile images set, and when I open the Contacts app, I can see them without any problem. However, when I open the Phone app, the images don’t appear. Instead, I just see the default placeholder icons next to calls or when browsing the call log.
So far I’ve:
Checked that the contacts are synced properly with my account.
Checked that phone has contacts permission.
Verified that the images are indeed attached to each contact in the Contacts app.
Restarted my phone, but the problem persists.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a setting I’m missing in the Phone app, or could this be a sync/display issue? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
