Steps to reproduce the bug
I cannot reliably reproduce the bug. It happens unpredictably.
Observations:
A) The navigation bar buttons overlap unpredictably with the dock apps, I usually see it when unlocking the phone
B) Restarting the phone sometimes fixes the problem (i.e. the navigation bar buttons do not overlap with the dock apps anymore), but not always.
C) In the app settings, changing either the number of rows or columns does not fix the bug
Expected behavior
I expect the navigation bar buttons to not overlap with the dock apps.
Actual behavior
The navigation bar overlapping with the dock apps makes it difficult to tap on the dock apps, because it can activate the navigation bar buttons unless one is very careful. See screenshot.
