[Bug] App still tries to connect to the API even disabled

Describe the bug

When the option to skip sponsor option is DISABLED, I expect the app stop connecting to the api but it get queries each time I open any youtube video.

1. In settings, DISABLE the option to skip sponsorship.
2. Open any video
