<h1 class="auto-style2">History of Costumes by Matrices</h1>
From newest to oldest, this is a timeline of all the costumes I've built or
had a major part in building. Note: Some collaborations with colleagues and
refurbished pieces are not pictured (for example if it was a minor change
intended to match the original maker's work, or if a colleague used my foam
base to finish into a costume collaboration in their style).<br>
<br>
<p align="center"><b>Ace</b> (July 2026) - Palamute partial fursuit. Collaboration with <a href="https://bsky.app/profile/dekawolf.bsky.social">DekaWolf</a> that we worked on together!
<br>
<img src="fursuits/AcethePalamute.png" alt="Ace the Palamute is a fursuit and fan character based on the Monster Hunter games. The species is Caynine a type of fanged wyvern doglike creature with a pointed snout, pointed back ears, and cheeks with dramatically pointed tufts at the edges. Ace is blue in color with white markings, and a white ninja star marking on his forehead and small yellow eyes. He wears a matching black and blue motorcycle jacket with white stripe detailing. He poses with one paw up pointing at the viewer with a slight smirk."></p>
<p align="center"><b>Matrices</b> (Head & tail finished Aug 2021, hand and footpaws finished July 2026) - Partial fursuit to be worn with clothing.
<br>
<img src="fursuits/Matrices2021.png" alt="The fursuit costume of Matrices is looking towards the camera with a smiling face and pink tongue hanging out. Matrices is a grey doggy shaped more like a cartoon character than a realistic dog. Her fur is soft looking with shaggy cheeks, folded back ears, and a white forehead marking. Her green eyes are in a gentile and somewhat neutral expression."></p>
<p align="center"><b>Chelan</b> (Updated July 2021) - New nose, shave, airbrushing touch up. As well as new padding on the interior. Her new nose is by
<a href="https://mythimorph.com/">Mythimorph Labs </a>.
<br>
<img src="fursuits/Chelan2021.png" alt="The fursuit costume of Chelan the coyote with mouth open wide and expression looking upwards. Chelan is depicted here in a slightly more realistic style but with some exaggerated elements. The face more refined details such as a realistic-looking squishy nose and tongue. Hard resin teeth and detailed lips. She also features glass eyes with more stylized detailing. Her fur is intentionally a bit shaggy and coarse at the edges of her cheeks and neck, more like a realistic coyote would have."></p>
<p align="center"><b>Growlithe</b> (Jan 2020) - Cosplay character partial. The shirt and coveralls were also edited to go with this cosplay character.<br>
<img src="fursuits/Growlithe.png" alt="Growlithe is a fan character that Matrices made based on the Pokemon games. The rest of the cosplay matches a similar coveralls outfit that the daycare worker that distributes eggs wears in the games. Growlithe is holding 3 eggs in gloved hands."></p>
<p align="center"><b>Costa</b> (Dec 2019) - Fullsuit & head refurbish. Body, feet, and tail by me. Original maker of head and handpaws by
<a href="https://www.soulenterprise.net/">Soul Enterprise</a>. Collie Mutt
Dog.<br>
<img src="fursuits/Costa2.png" alt="Costa is facing forward towards the viewer with tongue out to the side and a gentile expression. The ears are more collie-like now with them being perked up at the base and flopped over at the tips."><br> (After the new ears)<br>
<img src="fursuits/Costa1.png" alt="The fursuit costume of Costa standing with paws on hips in a strong-looking pose with chest puffed out. The character's soft green and mint green fur is complimented by shaggy white fringes of longer fur down the back of their forearms and legs. They have V shaped chest marking and fluffy fur on their chest and short fur on their tummy. Their original ears were a little bit shorter and point straight out from the side of the head without a flop."><br> (Before the new ears)</p>
<p align="center"><b>Chowder</b> (October 2018) - Harbor Seal partial.<br>
<img src="fursuits/Chowder.png" alt="Chowder is a harbor seal fursuit costume with numerous whiskers and detailed grey-to-black speckling all over the short fur pelt. Flipper-hands are lifted and held upwards while the character is shown in a 3/4 view taking a selfie at the beach."><br>

<strong>Bonk</strong> (Dec 2017) - Head was commissioned and made by
<a href="https://twitter.com/Battitude_S">Battitude</a>. Everything except
the head (Body, feet, tail, and hands) were made by me.<br>
<img src="fursuits/Bonk.jpg" alt="Bonk is a cute chubby creature. The character evokes proportions and details of a lizard, like tail and back spikes, horns, and scales atop the snout; with some mammal features like fur, pointed ears, and canine-like nosepad. Over all the fursuit costume deviates from a human-shape and looks much more like a creature with short, quite stubby legs, elongated chubby body, very large tail that is thick at the base and tapered towards the tip, and shaggy fur along the upper half of the body and shoulders. Bonk stands at a beach filled with driftwood posing for the viewer with arms bent and paws flopped downwards."></p>

<img src="fursuits/zum5.jpg" alt="Zum is a big fluffy grey, white and black maine coon housecat with geometric-looking stripe patterns across parts of the body. The body shape of the fursuit costume deviates from a standard human-shape by creating the illusion of digitigrade legs and a larger softer body than the wearer's actual shape underneath. This makes the character look very soft and plush and more like the shape of a spoiled housecat."></p>

updated markings.<br>

<img src="fursuits/Chelan.jpg" alt="Chelan the coyote stands at a high-up overlook with islands in the background. This fursuit character is slightly more realistic in style than some of the others depicted on this timeline, but still having some cartoony elements. Her coloration is brown and tan with cream-colored accents. She wears a flower in one of her ears and a green hooded sweatshirt as she leans against a signboard casually with her paws folded. The lower half of the character depicts digitigrade legs changing the body shape of the wearer to look more animal-like by having haunches and looking like the character is standing on their toes."><br></p>
<p align="center"><strong>Slocome</strong> (Sept 2013) - Maine Coon Cat<br>
