I'm not sure if this would be possible, because the script is not actually installing anything on your system. Especially when using the quick method to run the script, where the script basically removes itself after it's done.

I think the script just need packaging into something .

I do go and can package it , with a basic gui and cli to control it if you want .

In goalng its like 10 lines of code to call PS over stdio..

then when changes are make goreleaser will automatically release it as a winget.

its all pretty standard stuff.

If oyu hate the idea because it's golang I can do it in another repo, and then you can use it or not.

I just think that its good because when a new script change is done, it can automatically se this int he git releases and pull the new scripts and run them.

We can even make it check once a day on windows.

lots of cool things we can do so that Users just do a winget install and it then takes over to keep the windows box healthy and clean . The idea of the CLI and GUI, was just icing on the cake. Some people like a GUI or CLI to see what something is doing under the hood.

Definitely feel free to fork and do your thing. I'm not sure if I'd want to step away from a simple powershell script however. My philosophy with this script is to have something lightweight that's just fire and forget. Having it actually install and run periodically does go against that.

all I am building g is a state that will read the scripts from your repo , doing it from the windows machine .

I just realised that we can also record runs and send the run audit somewhere too.

And in the GUI / CLI we can allow a User to toggle what is NOT run and remember it.
