Edge no longer retaining history

Great script. I am however not sure why edge browser no longer keeps my cache or browser history. Is this working as intended?

The script doesn't make any changes to Microsoft Edge itself.

Could you check what settings you have enabled for this inside Edge? To do this, go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Choose what to clear every time you close the browser

Are any of the toggles enabled for you on this page?

Nah I made sure to eliminate that variable - I also reinstalled edge and restarted a few times to clear the environment. I even went into the registry editor and re-enabled activity history to no avail. I would have thought it had to do with something in your privacy/telemetry removal portion of the script.

That's very strange, I personally use Edge as my second browser and I haven't encountered this issue myself. Did you use any other tools recently that could have caused this?

P.S. Have you tried resetting your browser settings from edge://settings/reset?
