Hi, everyone.

Welcome to the Sagebox discussion page. I just release the Alpha version of Sagebox.

I have a lot of plans for Sagebox, and the biggest part of that is listening to you and what you want as developers, whether professional or hobbyists.

This is the Alpha release, but Sagebox has been around for a long time. This release is about getting it out to you, figuring out how to finance further development, and generally making it useful for everyone.

There is a lot I plan to add -- a lot which has already been written, and I am waiting to get Sagebox out there to see what works best for everyone.

I've never worked so hard to keep something so detailed under the hood simple on the surface, and I want to keep it that way.

So, for everything I add, I want to make sure it is the best workable solution for everyone.

This is just the start, and I am sure we can start other discussion boards for specific things, such as additions to Sagebox and specific modules, etc.

This looks great and you've obviously done a lot of work on it. Have you considered open sourcing it and maybe going MIT or LGPL with the license? Might help the project get more traction in the community.
