error handling for queries

I want to always check for error before accessing query data.
Is there a way to define this type for TanStack Query to enforce that behavior?

I want the query result type to be something like:

{ data: Data; error: undefined } | { data: undefined; error: Error }

so that I’m forced to check for error before accessing data.

I’d do that with error boundaries and throwOnError
