Hi!

I finally started using the paint on function of this script and on my first part found several things I wanted to report:

My part looks like this and is printing at the moment to see what is possible.

The contact areas to other parts are painted to be smooth, the rest shall be fuzzy.

I am using the option of having 2 walls with an alternate extra wall

  1. Looking at the visualisation of the g-code, I cannot find a proper explanation, why there is fuzzy skin within the walls and not only on the oustide surface. For me it seems that the scripts divides the part into "fuzzy part" and "smooth part" and prints both separately

gcode:

  1. When using the scarf joint seam function (contour only), this is what happens when slicing one part only:

gcode (same as 1):

Slicing 2 parts together with scarf joint seam function looks like this:

gcode:
20250316_Pipe_Distance_Lower_V2_PLA_1h53m_fuzzy.zip

Also, I know it is experimental and it is not really needed to use scarf joint seam function with fuzzy skin, but I thought on reporting this anyway.

Thanks!
