Taxon and Identification #40

@ekrimmel

Description

@ekrimmel

From tdwg/dwc-qa#118

What parts of DwC taxon terms apply to an occurrence vs. a scientific name?
Could be good two-part, back-to-back series: (1) dealing with terms in DwC - how do you put the names on occurrences? (2) what has happened in practice between taxon cores and occurrence cores and the challenges that has created. Possible presenters could be Richard Pyle - would be better for describing all of taxon class; Markus Döring. John W. will reach out to them for possibly presenting in fall.
