How are you keeping track of your receipts?

I have made #314 and pinged about it in Matrix, but didn't get any feedback so far.

I'm curious about if it is a good idea to store receipt data on an instance of paperless, rather than my suggestion above of storing it ourselves and maintaining a link in the form of a content-addressed file in a ledger comment.

You mention in the README.md:

Does this mean you are not keeping track of your receipts?

I found that Fava has had this "document upload" feature for a while, since 2016:

If paisa had an api to append comments to transactions, that would be enough of a hook for me to program whatever behavior I wanted.
