StatsD Injector was created as a bridge for components that emit StatsD formatted metrics. StatsD Injector converts StatsD metrics into Loggregator Envelopes and sends them to the Loggregator Architecture.

StatsD injector is currently used by UAA and CAPI in CF Deployment and Tanzu Application Service.
