Well I'm going to try and release some open source code this year, finally!

This project aims to provide free, reliable and fully unit test code, which has been deliberately written to improve on prior art, in an attempt to avoid facing patent litigation.

This project has had years of development, some of which I would say would be innovative, but in the end most of it has been abandoned because the threat alone of writing a line of code that can lead to a patent infringement has meant the risk is just too great.
