[Feat]: Custom Scroll Speed for Touch Devices #1171
Which variants of Embla Carousel are relevant to this feature request?
Feature descriptionI would like to request an option to customize the scroll speed for touch devices. I'm currently developing a website with embla carousel, and while the current setup is fantastic, I would love the ability to slow down the scroll speed slightly for touch devices. Is this something that could be easily exposed as an option with the current state of the code? Thanks! Additional ContextI would also like to propose a code snippet to better illustrate my idea. For the naming, options like touchScrollSpeed, scrollSensitivity, or dragSpeedFactor could be used to convey the purpose clearly Before submitting

@dcantelmo thank you for your feature request. Do you want to adjust the scroll speed for drag interactions or scroll triggered by prev/next/dot navigation? |

@dcantelmo, as of now, this functionality isn't something that can be controlled (only the scroll speed triggered by prev/next/dot navigation can be adjusted). The code currently relies on a series of constants, so adding this feature would require significant changes. Additionally, there are other features that Embla users have expressed more interest in, so this particular feature isn't a priority at the moment. Therefore, I wouldn't expect it to be implemented in the near future.
Thanks for your understanding.
