How to extract the point, retangles, polylines from svg??

I want to extract all the contents in svg.
but drawing = svg2rlg(f) return a reportlab object,
I wonder if there is any function to extract all the points\segments\polygons

I guess svglib is not the package you need for your use case. Search for any generic XML manipulation tool.
