git tags for squeakvm.org code

Would it please be possible to git tag the code , preferably with a triplet version that corresponds to the squeak version number ?

I am not able to do that now because my commits to the SVN repo are failing with a server error., so recent updates are staged here but not yet committed to squeakvm.org. I hope to be able to get this resolved but am not able to do so yet.

Isn't the git tag independent from the SVN repo ? It would be great if the commit to the SVN repo succeed, so I am not suggesting the git tags as alternative to the SVN repo, but I was hoping that git tags could be done/used in the git repo, regardless of how the SVN repo is.

I pushed a tag for 4.21-3840 at the head of the squeakvm branch. This corresponds to the latest versions currently available in SVN. Is this helpful? If there are a few other specific versions that you would like to tag, please let me know the SVN commits and I can tag them similarly in git.
