Description

Just downloaded Files App. Tried to use ctrl-shift-p but does not work. App fails and have to close. Might be problem with vs code since it uses ctrl shift p to get to the command palette. This is reproducable

Steps To Reproduce

just try typing ctrl-shift-p

Josh, you are right...as a good citizen, I should have taken the time to fill out everything correctly on the template. And, it is well designed. On Right is File App. Notice the typing the '>' char does not work. Also when I type ctrl-shift-p, The Files App says 'Not Responding' in top left. See image below. Files version is in Files settings > About
Can you please upload the debug.log file (DON'T copy and paste the text) directly to GitHub (email attachments don't work) . You can get it in Files settings > About > Open log location.

The log doesn't show any errors, can you type Event Viewer into the Windows start menu search > Click Windows logs > Click Application > Screenshot the first error (It will show Application Error under the source column and this symbol at the start) that have Files.exe shown on the first line > Send this on GitHub (Email attachments don't work)

Went to event view and did not find an error. But there were lots of entries.

Kept event viewer open. Sort entries by most recent at top.
Went to Files app. Hit ctr-shift-p. App immediately went to error.
After a couple minutes of now response, closed Files app program to exit hanging application.

Reopened event viewer. Error shown. Source='Application Hang'
