DEI case focus for CL

one thing we can do to celebrate different cultures is to change the links in our help pages to appropriate things according to whatever the month or day is celebrating. Like, during Black history month, our examples in our docs could link to Brown v. Board of Education.

The link could have a special icon next to it, and could explain things like, "In celebration of Black History Month, we're showcasing cases that were important to the progress of the Black community."

first part would be identifying the months or holidays we want to acknowledge, develop the language & then we can crowd source the case suggestions 1-2 months in advance.

We'd have to figure out where we feature cases too. I think there's a handful of places in the help pages, and we could probably put it in the search box's case name field as a placeholder, and a few other places, probably.

There are a few discrete steps to take on this one if we want to roll with it:

• Figure out where we have example cases.

• Make a list of months and appropriate cases.

• Make and write up a page explaining what we're up to (this has to be done carefully).

• Design a way for people to find that page when reading the docs or seeing an example.

  One inspiration I have for this is "hashflags", which are little emojis that Twitter lets advertisers put next to hashtags. For example here's one Apple paid for:

  

  We could put a little emoji kind of like that next to case examples, and clicking it would take you to the page.

• Then we can build...I think. :)
