I saw this with earlier git4windows versions too.

Windows Terminal with both PowerShell and git provided MSYS2 bash

Commands that trigger the issue

Running `exit` after git commands, unsure which ones exactly.

Expected behaviour

Terminal tab closes.

Actual behaviour

Terminal sometimes randomly hangs with either empty output on PowerShell or logout on bash.
I'd say it does it on about 3/10 attempts.
