OTEL Collector now has a Github plugin that allows users to retrieve CI/CD and DORA data into an OTEL pipeline.

It would be amazing if we could also get this adopted in to Alloy so folks using Alloy can get the same functionality

Use case

Being able to pull in and display data on CI/CD and especially DORA metrics from Github alongside application performance data and infrastructure observability provides an additional layer of insight into how a platform or product is performing in relation to the changes that are being made to it.
