Description

Control any smart TV from Claude Code. Play Netflix, Disney+, and 30+ streaming platforms by name — resolves episodes to content IDs and deep-links into the TV app. Also handles volume, scenes, multi-TV sync, and power.

Validate Claims

pip install stv && stv setup — auto-discovers your TV via SSDP. Then tell Claude "play Dark on Netflix" or run stv play netflix "Dark" s1e1.

1. Install stv (pip install stv) and run "stv resolve netflix Dark s1e1" — this resolves the show name to a Netflix content ID without needing a TV. You should see content ID 80114790 returned in about 2 seconds.

2. Run "stv whats-on netflix" to see what's trending on Netflix right now.

3. Try natural language: "stv play something chill" — it picks a show and tells you what it would play.

None of these require a TV to verify. The resolve + whats-on commands work purely over the network.
