bug: Ion-input with type password and inside input-toggle render two icons

Current Behavior

When i'm developing in a local proyect launc in edge i use :

Expected Behavior

only have 1 toggle icon

Steps to Reproduce

1. create a form
2. then paste de code
3. develop

That icon is browser specific, nothing to do with ionic. when you will build native build this icon will not show.

The code was build with ion-input .... And that toggle only shows when Is type password.

I'm not an expert in how Ionic components work, but maybe ion-input uses a normal html input behind it.

I agree, this is a browser thing in Edge. You should not see this icon if you use a different browser, or when you build the app for iOS or Android.

But maybe it's possible to hide the icon in Edge. Microsoft shows how to do it here:
