Seeing a blank page when I open Studio UI with no option to add Assistant

I have installed the helm charts and the services are up too. The API call is successful and I get empty list for assistant api.

http://localhost:8000/assistants/search

Now, this response is empty but I don't see anything on UI, no button and no error on UI console as well. The screen is empty.
Any idea on how this can be fixed?

Hi @shalini-gupta-20 , what are you setting as the base url? You would need to specify the hostname of the api service as the base url for studio to point to your deployment.

Hi @langchain-infra I am pointing to the api service with the BASE URL set correctly and on the service url /docs path I can see all the APIs listed as well. I dont see any error related to api invocation in network tab as well from Studio. The API is returing empty array and DB also does not have any assistant.

I m getting blank UI and I dont see any option to create Assistant as well. Please let me know if these images help.

Hi What I also observed is that its looking for a thread id. If we dont have any threads and the application is using an external postgres, then how do we create a new assistant? Is there anything missing in these helm charts for a completely new installation?

Hi Shalini, this chart should bootstrap all the basic tables for you even if using an external postgres. Can you navigate to http://localhost:3968/studio/thread?baseUrl=

When you say migrate, where is it migrating from?
What I should see on the UI, when the tables created during migration are empty. Any documentation on that I can use?

Hi Shalini, I dont think we have any documentation on tables used here. And by migrations I mean db migrations. You would just see an empty list of assistants etc. Separately can set baseUrl without the http? I believe that would have to be url escaped.
