Expected behavior

When running pac pages migrate-datamodel --webSiteId [WebSiteId-GUID] --siteCustomizationReportPath [PATH], see current version of Dataverse Base Package, version required for migration, and detailed resolution instructions or link to same.

Actual behavior

Vague error message (see title) linking to Power Platform Admin Center with no further resolution instructions or obvious alerts guiding me towards resolving the issue preventing migration.

What I've tried

• Followed instructions on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-pages/admin/update-solution to ensure website packages are on latest versions
• Followed instructions on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/manage-apps?tabs=new to ensure all D365 apps are on latest versions
• Created new Developer environment, along with new Power Pages website (already using Enhanced Data Model)
• Searched online for how others have resolved this issue
  • Found https://readyxrm.blog/2024/04/27/power-pages-convert-standard-to-enhanced-data-model/ in which many users have encountered this same issue and no resolution was found

Just wanted to add my voice to this. I am also seeing this error. I have successfully upgraded several other websites, but this one is a very old portal with Dynamics 365 Portal solutions. I'm wondering if that is the issue.

The solution ended up being:

1. Turn off enhanced data model in target Power Platform environment.
2. Create new Power Pages website to recreate Dataverse Portal Base package.
3. Delete new Power Pages website.
