yq Does seems to lose comments on scalar documents

The comment # 002 is in the go-yaml node, but yq doesn't emit it.

Ah this is a idiosyncrasy of how yq outputs a single scalar, by default it does not include comments (or even quotes) - as most often its a result of someone asking for value of a specific field that they want to use in their script.

To get the full node output, you can pass the flag --unwrapScalar=f; then the comment will appear.

That's a very neat tool you've made - makes me think it'd be worthwhile if yq had some sort of debug flag to print out it's own AST (which is more or less a copy of what go-yaml has, as that's where it all began)
