Please change hotkey for 'restart test'.

I'm not sure why it was ever chosen to be 'TAB + Enter' to restart the test. The TAB key is an active key that is used to change focus on the page.

The current hotkey that involves the TAB key to restart the test requires a very quick synchronous press of both at the same time. If the TAB key is pressed down for a fraction longer, the focus often changes to something else, and then the Enter key simulates a press/click on whatever the focus changed to, resulting in a completely undesired result and not actually restarting the test. It's a hotkey implementation that clashes too much due to the keys chosen (mainly the TAB key being the issue) and that requires a quick, precise and synchronous press on the users end, rather than it working 100% of the time.

It happens to me 1 in every 5 times - and given the amount of time I spend on this site, that is a lot.

Please, can you change the hotkey to something more standard and less likely to interfere with other keys. Such as using CTRL instead of TAB. Using CTRL instead of TAB is a standard for website hotkeys as CTRL doesn't do anything that interferes, like the TAB key does by changing focus and that paired with the Enter button that is needed in the hotkey sequence then means whatever was changed focus to ends up getting selected.

I really hope you can get this changed, as I find it to be one my biggest pet peeves of using this platform and doesn't work well for UX.

To replicate this issue - complete a test so that you are on the page that shows the results. Press the hotkey TAB + Enter but hold your finger a fraction of a second longer on the TAB before pressing Enter. You will get undesired results. The solution for this isn't for the user to just make sure they press it more quickly. It should be something that can still function regardless if the user takes that fraction of a second longer or not.

First, I don't know how to do that. Secondly, that is missing the point entirely. The tab key shouldn't be used at all as a hotkey. Why is it the default? Especially for screen-readers. They rely on the TAB key to navigate. The whole premise of using the TAB key at all for a hotkey is not good UX design.

Well, that is exactly what it does, it focuses the next element (which is the restart button) and enter confirmes it.

That seems to be the case. So it's not a hotkey at all, it's more of an instruction of navigating via the TAB key. The indicator at the bottom that says "TAB + Enter" makes it seem like it's a hotkey that is handled by the platform. Hence why in many cases when holding down TAB + Enter results in undesired effects - because in reality it should be TAB (then) Enter, not TAB + Enter.

I think that should be a little more clearer. Either that or there is an actual hotkey that is implemented by default to handle restarting the test. As someone who has used the site a lot, I am telling you that this very problem has happened so many times. I would imagine now that I know that in reality it's just literally changing focus to the restart test button, and now that I will just press the TAB button once, I won't have this problem again. But it could be a lot clearer that this is the case as opposed to showing "TAB + Enter".
