Auto-creating reservations for prefixes

I'm looking at using Netbox for our AWS VPC subnets, and Amazon automatically reserve the first 3 usable IPs (for the VPN router, their DNS service, and another 'future use' one). What would be the best way to ensure that any prefixes I create had those IPs pre-reserved? Would using the events system and a custom script be the way to go?

I think you are on the right path.
Have a custom script reserve the IPs. Let that custom script get triggered by an event rule on creation of a prefix.
