Saving changes made to a row (popup) resets the display filter (or simply by exiting the popup).

Steps to reproduce

1. Filter display
2. Edit a row (not online editing, but via the popup to modify all columns in the row)
3. Save it (or just close the popup without making any change)
4. Filter is cancelled and all rows appear again

It occurs :

• in the main full table
• in views

Expected behavior

Filter must remain as long as we don't manually reset it

Actual behavior

Filter is reset by actions mentionned above

Hello,

No, the use of filters and/or persistent settings with views has an immutable aspect that the usage context I'm describing does not have.

From the perspective of basic user experience logic, there is no reason for the currently active sorts/filters to be lost.

They must survive at least the entire browser session, and above all must not be destroyed by an action as editing a record.

And if, when modifying a field that is likely to change the row’s position relative to others, an automatic refresh should occur, the current sorting and filtering must be preserved.

From a UX perspective, the user experience must always be taken into account... and most scenarios need to be considered.
