Not able To add Google account

Hi developers,
I'm not able to add my YouTube account in the latest version of MicroG. However, when I use an older version of MicroG (a release from 2023), I can successfully add my Google account. Unfortunately, that version is no longer supported by YouTube ReVanced.

In the latest MicroG, I'm stuck on the page where the "Add account" option appears—nothing happens after that. I'm sharing this screenshot for your reference. Please check.

You probably need to temporarily turn off the extra authentication settings.

Try allowing all device permissions in MicroG app info.

What device do you have? And confirm you downloaded the MicroG release found here: https://github.com/ReVanced/GmsCore/releases/tag/v0.3.1.4.240913

I have OnePlus Nord CE 4 and I download the micro g default for all devices form this Link https://github.com/ReVanced/GmsCore/releases/tag/v0.3.1.4.240913

It's a mystery why it doesn't work for your device.

There's no support here for forks of ReVanced code, but it's worth trying this fork https://github.com/WSTxda/MicroG-RE as it has some upstream MicroG fixes that are not yet merged to the ReVanced MicroG release.

Not even for you—it's a mystery for me as well. I’ve been using YouTube Vanced since 2019, not YouTube ReVanced. Today, I tried every possible method: turning off device registration, clearing cache, changing servers, and using different versions of MicroG—but nothing worked.

The twist is, the same version works perfectly on other devices I tested. I'm currently using a OnePlus Nord CE4. If you know anything that could help, please suggest it, because MicroG isn't even opening on my device.

Completely uninstall all old versions of microG, ReVanced Manager, and YouTube ReVanced (including cache and data); then do a fresh install of ReVanced Manager and use it to install the official microG (v0.3.1.4 or later) which includes the signature-spoofing patches. Open microG’s settings and enable “Device registration,” make sure your ROM supports signature spoofing, then use Manager to patch and install YouTube ReVanced. Finally, go to Settings → Account → Add account—and the login should complete without getting stuck.

Instead of all the workarounds, you can simply uninstall the official rv microg and give a try to Microg-RE (which have updated base). Firstly, clear data and force stop all rv apps you use. then, Just install it and access it from all apps section in settings. Add your account and turn on all the options in privacy section. Then make a restart. And then, open YT or any rv app.

Give it a try and let me know if it works or not.

But it's just a fork of revanced microg, with updated gms base. Maintained by WST.

And for Official, can't you update its base? As the last update to micorg is in last Apr.

That's not what it is. It adds a lot of unnecessary changes with unforseen issues. I already pushed a GmsCore bump in a new branch
