Adding HTTP Headers to @Tool & @Resource context

I'm using MCP-Nest to create a general tool/service implementation for our internal chat client. In these tools we allow users to search in Confluence, Salesforce & Slack. However we need to be able to distinguish user within the request, so we can serve them with data they have access to.

Can this be impemented?

Highly agreed and upvoted! I spent the whole day looking for a workaround to get the token but couldn’t find any solution

That's already supported. Within the tools, you have access to the original request as shown in this test: https://github.com/rekog-labs/MCP-Nest/blob/main/tests/mcp-tool-auth.e2e.spec.ts#L71
