Installation without admin right

I wanted to install ReciPro in an account that doesn't have admin right in a folder where the user has writing permission and it can't be completed correctly, because it is asking for admin permission at the end of the install, which then fails and revert the installation.
During the installation, the files are created correctly in the destination folder before asking for admin right and I am wondering if this is related to the creation of shortcuts?
Would it be possible to change the installer to choose because "all users" (require admin right) and "current user" (no admin right required) and update the shortcuts, default folder destination accordingly?

Thank you for the detailed bug report, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Strangely, the same problem did not occur in my environment, and the cause is currently under investigation.
Regardless of whether the user is an administrator or not, the shortcuts are designed to be placed in a folder dedicated to the user, as shown below.
C:\Users\seto\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Crystallography Software\ReciPro.lnk
C:\Users\seto\Desktop\ReciPro.lnk
(“seto” is the username)

After opening this issue, I did manage to remove the shortcuts (from the previous version) without admin right, which is consistent with what you are saying - sorry, what I speculated initially was misleading!

Another speculation (sorry the error doesn't give any information other than it failed): could it be related to the creation of the uninstaller? In case, it is being copied in a folder that require admin right?
