Welcome to the repository of online materials for the 2018 PhD dissertation of Matthew Lou-Magnuson:

Intimate Connections: An agent-based model of the relationship between social network structure and language typology.

The four models used in the thesis are in folder corresponding to the sections where they are used. Each folder contains a main.jl file that can be used to repliate the data, an analysis.r file containing the code used to calculate statistical information and produce plots, as well as pseudo code for the algorithms discussed in the thesis.

If you have any questions or encounter any errors, please contact matt at-sign loumagnuson.com for answers and troubleshooting.
