What is the modern replacement/alternative for 74HC4078?

The 74HC4078 is not made anymore from what i can see? What is the modern alternative to this IC?

I can see Ben Eater made a replacement with another IC thats a buffer and some diodes, but i dont know enough to understand if that is an equivalent replacement for this project.

I can see that you could get a chip that has 2x4-Input 2xOutput and then combine that further to get the same result, but again i am currently not knowledgeable enough.

The reason i ask is because i don't want to buy stuff off ebay if i can help it, id rather just but everything off mouser.

FWIW, I bought my 74HC4078s on eBay and they were just fine. It is unfortunate that these chips are no longer manufactured as they are pretty convenient.
