Ah this is very interesting. I see quite similar ideas between aos and reel.

Lately, I've been also working more here: https://github.com/smartcomputer-ai/forge
Which is an agent harness designed for durable workflow engines. Because I realized, with AOS, I was moving increasingly towards building a durable workflow system. And I realized I want to see first how to build a long lasting agent on top of something like Temporal.

If you look at durable wf engines, you see we're dealing with similar questions as your Class A, B, C side effects, although they are not modeled explicitly.

very cool! forge (now called lightspeed) is more of an agent harness, though. I think Apeiron is closer to this repository, where I try to make all agent actions fully event sourced and auditable, including effects (I/O).
