Viewing Splunk Reports

It is possible to view Splunk visualizations in Visual Studio Code without leaving the code editor.

Enable Embedding on a Splunk Report

Report embedding enables Splunk visualizations and reports to be used outside of the Splunk Web interface.

• On the Splunk search head, go to Settings -> Searches, reports, and alerts
• On the report to be embedded, choose Edit -> Embed
• Click the Enable Embedding button.
