It's difficult to tell with limited information, your apps.yaml or debug file would help to better understand your setup, but it looks like predbat is seeing your load prediction as only just about matching your PV prediction, so overnight it is charging the battery to ensure you have enough to see you through the day. Have you set best soc min or keep to keep a certain charge in the battery? Hard to debug with only the plan |

Hello,
I have 40kWh battery, 30kW inverter, 20kWp pannels and I don't want to export anything. I have a problem with batpred allways charging the battery to 100% overnight. Even when there will be enough sun during the day, so I will be able to get into the next charging cycle with more than 10% battery, it still inisists on charging to 100%. I think I am doing something wrong, but I don't know where to start, since I'm new to batpred. I've attached the plan. And I forced it to freeze the charging, because I don't need that extra charge for tomorrow. It it visible that it is planing not to charge to 100% few days forward, but I want to know why it plans to charge today for example or tomorrow (Mon/Tue), when it can get to the next window with let's say 60-70% battery.
Any guidance will be appriciated. Thanks in advance.
