The Solis inverter type is pre-programmed into Predbat (type = “GS”) so I believe if you do set a target SOC entity in apps.yaml then Predbat will ignore it as it believes GS doesn’t have a target SOC to control. On your second question you could use the reserve in apps.yaml for your discharge target, but again Predbat doesn’t expect the GS inverter to support a reserve SOC: I’m going to convert this to an issue so we can progress any development enhancements there |

Hi, I have a Solis inverter and have used the configuration template for Solis. With the latest firmware update Solis now offers to set SOC targets for charge and discharge. In the "custom" inverter settings I can enable target SOCs. So I'm wondering can I use these custom settings whilst using the Solis template (inverter_type: "GS")?
Another thing is that Predbat seems only to be offering one target SOC setting for charge and discharge (charge_limit), whilst Solis has two different target SOCs (one for charge, one for discharge). Is there a way to use both of these in Predbat?
