ProxySQL with x509

Hi,

I have a user configured on my MySQL instance with x509 + issuer/subject.

My users are set up with x509 for compliance reasons. Is there a way to connect through proxySQL with a user configured this way?
Can proxySQL validate the client provided cert/key and somehow pass that to the backend connection?

What are my options here?
