Display the "layout did not converge" warning on the preview panel as well in order to make it more visible.
Use Case
Layout not converging can be the source of subtle problems. I think this specific warning deserves more than just an orange dot on the left bar, especially given that warnings often come from packages, meaning users can learn to ignore them (which is another issue).
Displaying the warning visibly on the preview panel can make it more obvious that something bad is happening.
