Multi select inputs

Hi,

Never posted in a draft discussion before so wasn't really sure where to comment but i wanted to ask what is happening with multi select boes with this sort of "form styling reset"?

I watched Tim's talk on video yesterday and feel like this form styling reset is just what we need and am excited by it.

I typically use multi select inputs a lot but get frustrated by having to use a third party library to get consistent formats across the range.

I quite like the idea of it appearing as a regular select but checking an item makes that item appear in a tag based form inside the input. Would this be possible with this?

It's not very clear what exactly you are asking, is this the same as #12468?

@Loirooriol I think @rctneil is asking if appearance: base-select makes it possible to create a (stylable) multi-select dropdown (currently <select multiple> is rendered as a listbox regardless of the presence of a size attribute)
