Format/Organize imports from command line

I can't find an obvious way in the docs to run a gradle task to format/organize imports on DSL files. This would be useful for linting/pre-commit hooks. Especially for Xtend.

This plugin relies on Xtext's standalone builder. I'm not aware of an API for formatting/cleanup in that builder. @xtext/xtext-dev am I missing one?

you would need to parse the file, likely incl resolving, call the formatter (e.g. like /org.eclipse.xtext.ide/src/org/eclipse/xtext/ide/server/formatting/FormattingService.java) and then manually apply formattings
