Determining Gain

The obs_parameters ask for 'rf_gain', if_gain, and bb_gain. How are these three determined? Is the RF gain the gain attributed to the LNA? What determines the other two numbers?

This adjusts the corresponding RF, IF and BB gain on the OsmoSDR Source block in GNU Radio. Some of these may not be applicable to certain SDR devices, but what each gain parameter does depends on the SDR model being used.
