DAC Leakage

While composing, it works well when it is turned off.
However, it might be worth considering making it selectable in the options.
This way, you can ultimately identify where the sound is leaking undesirably and take appropriate measures against it (e.g., setting up an instrument to block and mute it during quiet passages)

This sounds useful to me, thanks for suggesting.

Due to some sound issues with the filter and the 6581, I have reverted to the older reSID version that GoatTracker 2.76 ships with and which has no DAC leakage. Hopefully the reSID issues will be resolved some day.

The DAC leakage is now standard in reSID. It is the same on the real SID. The only difference is that you don't usually hear it because it is lost in the background noise.

In the case here is a GoatTracker version that always gets the current reSID code:

If the problem with the filters persists, you could use the Chamerlin filter as an excellent alternative for the 8580. Hoxs64 and Denise have it.
