Keep in mind that BTT has discontinued the V1. I'm currently looking for and testing alternate boards for the 3MS, as BTT increased the price for the MMB V2.

Once I figure out the new board, I'll work on a complete Prusa-style guide, including wiring.

Dumb question, do I need to add stepper drivers to the v2 board or is that unnecessary?

Yes. Anytime you run stepper motors, you need stepper drivers.

This is my first view to the project so my question may be dumb but, there it goes anyway:
Could I use the same motherboard of the printer to control 3ms, in my case I have an Ender 3 neo v2 (motherboard 4.2.2). I don't know if it have enough spare stepper ports

Hi @rodrigoutrera1973 ,

You can use the main board of your printer, but I think the 4.2.2 board already has all its stepper ports used up for the XYZE axes. If you want, you can switch to something with more stepper ports, like an Octopus, or you can use an external board (I recommend the SKR Pico).
