Publishing rate of the elevation map decreases in time

Hello,
I'm trying to use the elevation mapping package for some autonomous driving applications with Carla simulator. In fact, my application needs a real time update of the map (min rate 10 hz) and the problem is that this rate is decreasing in time (by moving the vehicle). It seems like a memory management issue but still want to know if anyone encountered the same issue.
