Can we put the controls in a containing div?

Is anyone still working on this? I would love for an option to have all the controls grouped and put into one div that is added to the DOM so that I can then style that accordingly. Having to individually place each element (arrows, dots, paging, etc) for every carousel is mildly infuriating when we could just have one element that is positioned as needed.
