Unable to download a subset of the map

In the Python API there is an option to extract only a part of the land, namely through the "area" argument. Would be super nice to be able to do it here as well, because the reduction in size of the downloaded files is huge!

Thank you for the suggestion. The current development version allows using the area parameter in the ag5_download function to specify an area of interest. For example:

ag5_download(variable = "2m_temperature",
             statistic = "night_time_minimum",
             day = 1,
             month = 1,
             year = 2015,
             area = c(1, 32, 0, 33),
             path = "C:/custom_target_folder")
